these guys are so condescending, my lord

The one thought I had though was that if I got the heist I was actual going to put a rebel motor on it. All it would take is a little bit of welding knowledge. The rebel motor is a better motor but the heist is a better looking bike.

  3. jason c says:

Originally was going to buy CCW’s The Heist I love the bobber styling. I had a 81 Honda cb650c that crapped out on me, and I wanted a new bike. The problem I had with getting 250cc was my size and weight, I am 5’10” and 200lbs. So I started looking at getting something bigger i mean my 650 had a hard enough time with my size. I eventually was able to get a 2006 Sportster 1200c for about 1000 more than the heist. In the end I got a bike with a bigger v twin for a little more money.

nice byke ..rebel only thing always look for more power look good power no there

  5. yhiissuchbs says:

Also: give me 1 more gallon of fuel capacity -> hide it in the frame or under the seat for all I care but there is no reason for bikes getting 50+ MPG to visit the pump every few hours.
Speaking of fuel-injection… where is the Suzuki TU 250?

  6. yhiissuchbs says:

These should all have fuel-injected 400-ish cc motors with a ‘new rider’ fuel mapping available to cut the HP until you KNOW the basics. Then you would still have a tame bike to learn on and, with the flip of a switch, a ‘real’ bike that won’t bore you to death 1,000 miles later. Manufacturers want to sell you 2 bikes this year but this is short sighted. Only a small portion of new riders commit to paying for 6 months of bike tied to 3 years of bike payments.

Thanks for the review guys. I liked the variety of bikes tht you tested & tht you used a female to give her perspective.

  8. stellajanis22 says:

well ive rode all kinds of other bikes and from my experiance the rebel wins i love mine and its perfect for me i cant complain but ill try anything but iv not found nothing better yet

  9. gaalford says:

My wife has a Honda Rebel. She loves it. Its her first bike also. Tried to get her to get the s40 650cc. It was 30lbs heavier, Little more power, but she made her choice that she felt comfortable with and that’s what important when you are learning. We got 77 mpg on this thing last summer. Pretty reliable entry level bike.

  10. CleverDjembe says:

“tight and small” well, as an Asian girl, she knows what she’s talking about :DDD

  11. badderthanyou says:

Cleveland Cyclewerks the Heist hands down.

  12. Chris Fernandez says:

    This is a great video.

  13. AudiophileTubes says:

The whole American mentality sickens me, and i’m American! This guy down the road crashed his Harley hardtail and died last year. Left behind 3 kids. He took a turn a bit too fast and lost control of the bike. Wasn’t going that fast in general. Cracked his head on the pavement.

  14. darkling6 says:

Because we american’s want MOAR POWAH!!! even if it means crashing because we can’t handle it.

  15. AudiophileTubes says:

What a SAD crop of American market 250’s! Why is it that Asian and Euro markets get the really cool 250’s that we don’t get here?

  16. wettooth says:

There we have it… one of the least articulate reviews I’ve ever seen. She either likes it or she doesn’t, and she doesn’t or can’t say why.

    I’d fire her.

  17. TerribleTimes says:

The Heist is a hard tail what do you expect, of coarse its gonna have a harsh ride….

  18. velvethammer26 says:

why does he say re-entry level…its ENTRY level.

  19. cobrachoppergirl says:

Rebel wins. V-star sucks because there’s no way you can take those heads off without taking whole engine out of bike. Plus that second cylinder is pointed at your crotch, and doesn’t get any cooling at all. Rebel is much better design with both cylinders up front and hot exhaust pipes coming out right into wind. The bobber looks nice, but os utterly useless for hauling any kind of groceries, luggage, or anything on. I haul the world on my Rebel. Its indestructible and easy to work on.

  20. Walt Fechter says:

The Heist reminds me of an old Honda 305 that I chopped back in 1970, for a kid down the street from me. He still has it.

  21. Joseph Doe says:

Wish this video was longer -_-

  22. Shadowlogic420 says:

I would love to see that lol

  23. Shadowlogic420 says:

I would love to see that lol.

  24. dragata1 says:

bought a honda v45 magna 750 cc loved the bike im thinking about buying a heist for the frame and rocking the engine and putting a old CB650 engine on it

  25. cheezgrated says:

I get the feeling she’s a new rider that the staff found somewhere and not a confident, regular webcast presenter. It might not be an education issue. It might be presentation skills.
